多伦多台湾社区向抗疫一线机构捐赠物资
（大中报/096.ca讯）多伦多台湾侨务委员会日前发表公告说，面临新冠病毒，大多伦多及滑铁卢地区的台湾侨团和个人发起“台湾可以帮忙”（Taiwan Can Help）的活动，出钱出力，捐赠口罩、手套、防护衣等医疗物资给医院、养老院、心理健康诊所等机构。
加东侨界急难救助委员会永远名誉召集人金声白侨务委员及总召集人黄煌裕侨务顾问在3月中旬发起这项捐赠医疗物资活动，先后获得30多个侨团和侨民的热烈响应。
公告说，经过委请驻多伦多台北经济文化办事处的安排，“台湾可以帮忙”（Taiwan Can Help）近日已经分别捐出了三批医疗物资。部分捐赠予与台湾有相当特殊的关连，包括在安省名为「福尔摩沙镇 （Town of Formosa）」的两家养老院，和在密西沙加市延龄草医疗体系（Trillium Health Partners）旗下的三家医院。
“台湾可以帮忙”（Taiwan Can Help）还捐赠了3000个口罩给安省心理卫生诊所、戒毒所等的医护人员，多福医院（Markham-Stouffville Hospital）5000个医疗用口罩。医疗及1级用口罩2700个、KN95口罩200个给孟尝会。
